Solemn High Mass in the Dominican Rite for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (December 8, 2013)

Last Sunday (December 8, 2013), a Traditional Solemn High Latin Mass in the Dominican Rite was celebrated for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at Star of the Sea Church in San Francisco. The celebrant was Fr. Anselm Ramelow, O.P., assisted by the friars from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology (Berkeley, CA) and St. Dominic’s Church (Benicia, CA).   After Mass, the first TLM Society Annual Christmas Party took place at the school auditorium. Many thanks for those who helped in making this Christmas party a great success! Below are some photos from the Mass and Christmas party (more pictures can be viewed at our photo gallery), plus a YouTube video of the entire mass.

  1. Jay and Anna, thanks for the great photos. Hey, I’ve got an article coming out soon on the Western Students Blog on the Extraordinary Form (Domin.Rite) and wanted to use some of your excellent photos. I attribute you in each one and give the date also…do/can I have permission to do this? I’ve liked the Trad.LMass Society of SF on Facebook so you can message me there or shoot me an e-mail… Thanks!
