In the Traditional Latin Liturgy the Church liturgically reminds us to get ready for Lent during the three weeks before Ash Wednesday and the First Sunday of Lent. Already, the vestments are violet, and the Gloria and Alleluias are suppressed. Last week we marked the seventieth day before Easter, or Septuagesima Sunday, whereas, this Sunday marks the sixtieth day before Easter, or Sexagesima Sunday. Reminder: Monterey Latin Mass Conference: March 1 – 2, 2014 (UPDATES)


URGENT UPDATE #1:  The conference organizers have indicated they need at least 125 people to attend or the conference might be canceled due to low attendance. Please encourage your family, friends, church groups to attend!

URGENT UPDATE #2: One participant had planned to attend the Latin Mass Magazine Conference on March 1.  Something has come up and he cannot attend.  He is offering to anyone interested, his ticket for free plus $100 if that person could provide transportation to the person who was going to go with him, George Carter. George lives about five minutes by car away from the Bayshore Freeway in San Francisco.
