The first silent retreat for women in North America was held on October 31, 2013 to November 2, 2014 in Oakland California. The retreat was booked solid. Women were placed on a waiting list for the next retreat to be given at a later date TBD.
Each full day of the retreat included the Holy Mass, meditations, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the rosary and spiritual direction and confession.
The priests conducting the retreat was Canon Olivier Meney and Canon Matthew Talarico. Canon Rafael Ueda was also there assisting with spiritual direction and confessions.
