This year we are teaming up with the Oakland and the San Jose Apostolates of the Institute of Christ the King. We will have a booth at the Walk for Life Info Faire on January 24, 2015.

The faire is located at the starting point of the Walk for Life at Justin Herman Plaza, 1 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94133. Please look for us! Booths open at 11 A.M.

Lots of information about the Extraordinary Form will be available. We will have raffles and also pass out scapulars and more!

EF Masses Before and After the Walk and How to Connect with Institute of Christ the King Groups

10 A.M. High Mass at the Carmel of Cristo Rey, 721 Parker Avenue, San Francisco.

Members of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Oratory choir will sing the Propers; the Carmelite nuns will sing the Ordinary. Celebrant: Fr. Gregory Pendergraft, FSSP.

NOTE: You can take Muni bus 5 to the Justin Herman Plaza from the monastery (the stop is across from Fulton St corner). Fare $2.25 adult, $0.75 youth. The Institute of Christ the King group usually meets at the right side of the plaza under the third flag pole counting from the building.

1:30 P.M. Walk for Life starts at Justin Herman Plaza.

5:00 P.M. Solemn High Mass at the National Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi, 610 Vallejo Street, San Francisco

Michael Hey, Immaculate Heart of Mary choir director, will direct members of St. Ann Choir, Palo Alto, along with members of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Oratory choir members at the request of Dr. William Mahrt. Celebrant: Canon Olivier Meney, ICKSP. Deacon; Subdeacons: FSSP priests.

Parking

Near the Cristo Rey Monastery, street parking ought to be available for those who come to the 10 A.M. Mass.

Near Shrine of St. Francis (2 minute walk to garage):
• Laz Parking – North Beach Parking Garage – 735 Vallejo St., Near the intersection of Vallejo St and Emery Ln.  Parking fee: $3/hr.
• Laz Parking – Parking Garage – 783 Vallejo St (next to Police Station).  Parking fee: $3/hr.
Distance between North Beach Parking Garage and Civic Center Plaza (start of Walk) – 1.9 miles, 40 minute walk.
Distance between Justin Herman Plaza (end of Walk) to Shrine of St. Francis – 1 mile, 20 minute walk.
