Thanks to Fr. Patrick Driscoll for bringing this to our attention. Mark your calendars for March 1 – 3 for a Lenten Parish Mission at Star of the Sea Parish (San Francisco, CA) with Monsignor Arthur B. Calkins, STD, as the Mission Preacher. Monsignor Calkins worked for 21 years at the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei in Rome—the office that oversees the Traditional Latin Mass communities. He is a gifted speaker and an internationally recognized Mariologist. We highly encourage everyone to come!

A Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form (Traditional Latin Mass) was celebrated at the National Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi, following the 2015 Walk for Life West Coast. The celebrant was Canon Olivier Meney (Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest) and he was assisted by Fr. John Lyons, FSSP (Deacon) and Fr. Lee Perry (Subdeacon). Alongside with the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest apostolates of Oakland and San Jose, we had the opportunity last month to setup an informational table at the 2015 Walk for Life West Coast Info Faire at the Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco. Lots of brochures, bookmarks, and other giveway materials on the Traditional Latin Mass were distributed out before and after the Walk.
