CLICK HERE FOR AN UPDATE (as of 6/21/2016) on Fr. Peter Carota’s health
We visited Fr. Carota this week, alongside with Fr. John Lyons (F.S.S.P.), where we got a chance to pray the rosary with him. He had requested us to thank all you readers for your continued support and prayers. Fr. Carota feels weaker each day, and continues to offer up his suffering. He has tried to follow all the things that his doctors advised (his own brother is a doctor), but no relief seems to be in sight. He feels like as if he’s dying, but at the same time, some sort of health improvement comes along the way. Prayers taking effect perhaps? Today, being the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, please offer up some extra rosaries for his healing and recovery; and if you get a chance to go to Mass, even better!
If you would like to send Father a card, please request his address by clicking here (put a comment on Jonathan Byrd’s blog entry).

Father Carta is a hero. Please pray for him. It is obvious that God’s ways are not our ways.
Again, I am writing and asking: what has happened to Father Peter Carota? I did not know he is very sick; what has been taking place? Can someone answer my questions please? Thank you fr joe colletti
Hi Fr Colletti…we are not privy to say what is going on. We will keep all our readers updated so long as Fr Carota gives permission for us to post…
Sending much Love and Prayers from our family to you…we love you and we pray for healing through out your body! So loved and admired! And greatly missed in our parish at St. Jude’s! Please forward his address so we can forward cards to him please! Many blessings!
We have just learned that Fr Peter is ill … please tell him we have so many fond memories of him and shall pray for him to get well! I was a lector at St. Patricks with him … he helped me through some rough spots with my health as well. Just give him a hug from me please. Pat and Ken Krueger
