This Friday (August 2, 2019), a Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form (Traditional Latin Mass) will be celebrated for the Feast of Our Lady of the Angels of the Portiuncula at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (3433 Somerset Ave., Castro Valley, CA 94546). Please invite your family and friends!
The 4th Sunday of the month is almost upon us, so we are reminding our dear readers that there will be a Traditional Latin Mass on July 28 at 5:00 PM on the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (1040 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA). We could always use extra voices, so if you’re interested in singing with the choir, you’re more than welcome to join us for practice an hour before mass. With two masses per month (one on the first Sunday, and another on the 4th), church attendance to these EF Masses is steadily growing. Please continue spreading the word about our masses and invite your family and friends!
His Eminence, Cardinal Raymond Burke, celebrated Holy Mass in the Ordinary Form (ad orientem) at the Ninth Annual Napa Institute Conference held at the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, CA, on July 25, 2019. Mass was followed by an outdoor Eucharistic procession with clergy from various diocesan and religious communities. More photos can be viewed at our smugmug photo gallery here, as well as a short video clip below:
Mark your calendars for July 13, 2019 (Saturday) at 9AM. Mass in the Extraordinary Form will be offered, Votive Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary, at the Church of the Nativity (210 Oak Grove Ave., Menlo Park, CA). Everyone is invited!
Just reminding our readers of the 1st Sunday Traditional Latin Mass scheduled on July 7, 2019 (5:00 PM) at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (1040 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA). For this Sunday, mass will be celebrated by Canon Raphael Ueda (Chaplain for the Immaculate Heart of Mary Oratory in San Jose, CA). July 7 also marks the anniversary of the publication of our Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI’s motu proprio, Summorum Pontificum, so please take a moment to pray for him and his health. We are encouraged by an uptick on mass attendance for the past few months so please continue spreading the word and invite your family and friends!
