We need “prayer that storms the heavens for justice and mercy, prayer that cleanses our hearts and souls.”
Only in this way “will the culture of death that surrounds us today be replaced with a Culture of Life.”
~ United States Catholic Bishops Conference’s Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities

Operation Storm Heaven led by his Eminence Cardinal Raymond Burke, and supported by Archbishop Cordileone, seeks to unite Catholics throughout America and the world in the largest Rosary Crusade in history. Every month Cardinal Burke has been celebrating a monthly Mass followed by a Rosary for this crusade. This month, Thomas McKenna from the sponsoring organization, Catholic Action for Faith and Family, asked Archbishop Cordileone to celebrate the Mass and Rosary while Cardinal Burke continues his recovery from COVID. Catholic Action is also recruiting Rosary Warriors to sign up to pray one Rosary on the 1st of every month in union with the Holy Mass and Rosary, usually celebrated by Cardinal Burke for Operation Storm Heaven. They have 100,000 so far and are aiming for a million. Put it on your monthly calendar. Sign up here: https://www.catholicaction.org/take_heaven_by_storm.
Our Lady of Fatima said to the three shepherd children: “Pray, pray much, and sacrifice for sinners, for many souls go to hell because there is no one to sacrifice and pray for them.” Let us respond to Our Blessed Mother’s request by Storming Heaven together, with prayer for the graces so greatly needed in our world!

First Friday Traditional Latin Low Mass: Church of the Visitacion on Sept. 3, 2021 (7PM)

FIRST FRIDAY TRADITIONAL LATIN LOW MASS
7 PM SEPTEMBER 3, 2021
CHURCH OF THE VISITACION
655 Sunnydale Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94134

All are welcome to attend the second of the First Friday Traditional Latin Low Masses that will regularly be celebrated at Church of the Visitacion—which is coming up next week. A new choir directed by Rebekah Wu, Music Director of the Benedict XVI Institute Schola, will accompany the Mass.

Fr. Hoang Van Thuan, pastor of Visitacion, celebrated the first of his planned monthly Traditional Latin Low Masses on First Friday, August 6 at 7:00 PM. According to Fr. Thuan, the response was gratifying. Attendance more than quadrupled from the usual ten First Friday Mass attendees to between 40 and 50.

Fr. Thuan is one of several Bay Area priests trained by Alex Begin, Executive Director of the Extraordinary Faith series on EWTN, as part of the Benedict XVI Institute’s Latin Mass Project.

Prayers for his Eminence, Cardinal Raymond Burke

His Eminence, Cardinal Raymond Burke, remains to be in the hospital with Covid-19, and being assisted by a ventilator. In the past 12 hours though, we have seen an uptick of postings that seem to indicate he is gravely ill. While we don’t really know his current situation, we invite our friends and subscribers, to double up on prayers and offer masses if possible, for the healing and recovery of his Eminence.
