San Francisco Ancient Liturgies List

Last updated November 11, 2021

This page provides information about ancient liturgies in the Bay Area, which include traditional Latin Masses, reverent Ordinary Form Masses (especially those celebrated with traditional sacred music), and Eastern rite Catholic liturgies. Please let us know about updates, additions, or corrections at editorAncientLiturgies@bxvi.org. This page will be updated as we become aware of new information.

Because times and dates may change for many reasons, check before you go. The most direct ways you can find the current status for any location are provided in each listing. Some locations are managed by a coordinator who is not connected to the parish, so use the provided information to contact that person directly.

Unless noted, the listed liturgies are traditional Latin Low Masses. A Missa Cantata is indicated with (Sung). Latin Ordinary Form Masses, Dominican Masses, and Eastern rite liturgies are also indicated when appropriate.
