Listing of Requiem Masses in the EF (TLM) for Fr. Peter Carota

DSC_0528

We are putting this information out (distinguishing it from the main funeral information on July 14 & 15,  which is mainly in the Ordinary Form under the Diocese of Stockton’s Cathedral of the Annunciation) as a one-stop information post related to the Traditional Latin Requiem Masses offered for the soul of our beloved Fr. Peter Carota who died last July 8, 2016. So far, one Requiem Mass in the EF was already celebrated on the evening of Father’s passing at St. Catherine of Siena (Phoenix, AZ), of which a video is available for viewing at Sancta Missa’s YouTube page.  The following is a list of other upcoming Traditional Latin Requiem Masses:

Photos: 1st Holy Communion at St. Stephen’s, Sacramento, CA (May 7, 2016)

Around 40+ girls and boys had the joy of receiving our Lord Jesus Christ for the first time last Saturday (May 7, 2016), during a Solemn High Mass celebrated at St. Stephen the First Martyr parish in Sacramento, CA (an apostolate parish of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter or FSSP). Click on the photo to view the picture gallery of this special event. Please note that we have taken a limited number of pictures due to the request made to the faithful to refrain from taking photos during mass (entrance and concluding procession were ok).

2016 Confirmation at St. Stephen the First Martyr (Sacramento, CA) on 3/13/16

It was a blessing to witness the conferral of the Sacrament of Confirmation by his Excellency, the Most Reverend Myron Cotta, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Sacramento, to a large number of Confirmandi (50 in all!) at St. Stephen the First Martyr, an apostolate parish of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) at Sacramento, CA last March 13, 2016. Assisting the Bishop were Rev. John Lyons, FSSP, Rev. Lee Perry, and Rev. Zachary Akers, FSSP. The Rite of Confirmation was followed by the Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament, and concluded with a lively reception at the church gym. Here a few photos taken by the Traditional Latin Mass Society of San Francisco (view photo gallery here).
